Recruiting Recap: Christian Davis
Tigerville, SC - North Greenville Basketball is thrilled to welcome Christian Davis from North Augusta, SC.
Christian is a 2-time All-Region selection, and the starting point guard of the North Augusta High School team that won back to back Regional Championships. Christian was voted “Defensive Player of the Year” as a junior and “Most Valuable Player” as a senior.
Coach Lister on Christian: "We love that Christian has decided to come to school here. He is a great young man, from an awesome family. He brought the whole crew to freshman move-in day back in August. It was pretty cool to see how close they all are, and to meet everyone. Christian is a solid point guard that has a nice shot from the perimeter and knows how to get the ball where it belongs. He has a mature temperament on the floor, and is a bulldog defensively. We are excited to see him flourish in ourprogram. He is a great example of the type of young man we want in our locker room, and representing us on campus and around the community."
Christian on North Greenville: "The Christian atmosphere really guided me here in a huge way. I knew that this is where God wanted me to be. There was a sense of relief and joy that I had when I finally made the decision. The coaching staff also had a great impression on me. I just loved the way they interacted with me when I visited. I could tell that they were ready to achieve something great at NGU and that's what I was looking for. I would like to thank my family for their love and guidance in making such a big decision: Steve Davis (Dad), Cheryl Davis (Mom), Kayla Davis (older sister), Austin Davis (older brother), and Cameron Davis (younger brother). I am beyond excited for the season ahead. It has been amazing meeting 14 new guys that come from all different backgrounds and different cities. I love how we all push each other to be better, and how close we are as a team. For example, I have beat my roommate, Spencer Reaves 63 times in FIFA, he still calls me his friend. That means a lot."
