Due West, SC - The Crusaders earned their first victory of the season with an 86-54 win over Toccoa Falls College on Thursday night on the first day of the Red Myers Classic on the campus of Erskine College.
North Greenville shot 49.2% from the floor, including 43.8% from beyond the arc while hodling Toccoa Falls to just 28.8% shooting and forcing 16 turnovers.
Senior Keith Johnson led the way with 15 points on 6-for-9 shooting, while freshman Thomas Horn was 4-for-7 from three-point range to score 12 points in 19 minutes of action. Junior Micah Parker and senior Chris Dean were also in double digits with 11 and 10 points respectively as junior Phillip Brown narrowly missed a double-double with eight points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
The Crusaders (1-2) will square off with Johnson University tomorrow, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m.
