Crusader Basketball Lands Second Commit From Florida
Tigerville, SC - North Greenville University men’s basketball Coach Chad Lister has announced the signing of Oldsmar Christian School shooting guard Thomas Horn.

Thomas is the second student-athlete to commit to the Crusaders, and the second from Florida.

“We are thrilled to have Thomas on board here at North Greenville,” said Lister. “From a basketball standpoint, Thomas can shoot the lights out and is a hard worker and comes from one of the top ranked private schools in the country.”

“Oldsmar Christian Coach Jordan Fair was a big help in the recruiting process, and has been instrumental in Thomas’ basketball development,” continued Lister.  Oldsmar Christian has 7 players from this year’s team that are slated to play college basketball next year.

Coach Fair on Thomas:  “Thomas is the best high school shooter I have ever been around.  He is instant offense, and makes great decisions in transition.  He has a high IQ and understands how to get his teammate involved.  Before Thomas I didn’t know it was possible to shoot as many 3’s as he does and make more than 50% of them.  North Greenville is a perfect fit for Thomas.”

Thomas led Oldsmar Christian in field goal percentage, free throw percentage, 3-point percentage, and was voted best offensive player.

“Off the court Thomas comes from a very close family and is a great young man that will represent our team and North Greenville in a very positive way,” added Coach Lister.
