Men's Basketball Signs First Recruit For 2013-14

Springfield, FL---Head basketball coach Chad Lister has officially landed the team’s first recruit of the 2013 class after Jai Jencks inked a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the North Greenville Crusaders.

Jai a 6'8" post player who was a 3-year starter for coach Rhondie Ross and the Rams, averaged 10 points, 8 rebounds a game this past year.

Jenkins chose North Greenville over Division I Alabama State because he says it was a christian school and a better fit. He also told us Thursday's signing a "family" accomplishment.

"Coach Ross he's my father away from home. I probably see him sometimes more than my dad. I come in here with him, work out every day, constantly pushing me to get better, stay on my back about school and my online classes. I love coach Ross. He's my father away from home. My fellow seniors, they're like my brothers. That's my family right there."
