Tigerville, SC – Queens University of Charlotte put together a strong performance to overcome a halftime deficit and defeat the North Greenville University men’s basketball team 79-63 on Saturday afternoon in Hayes Gymnasium.
The Crusaders and Royals traded baskets for the entire first 20 minutes of action with North Greenville gaining a slight 36-34 advantage heading into intermission. Keith Johnson had his most complete game in a Crusader uniform, scoring 20 points on 7-for-15 shooting, including 4-for-8 from beyond the arc, while also pulling down 11 rebounds for his first career double-double.
