Tigerville, S.C. – The Crusaders opened the game with a 12-5 run en route to defeating Young Harris College 82-69 on Saturday in Hayes Gymnasium and extending their win streak to five games.
“Our execution was not great today, but you have to credit Young Harris for that,” said head coach Chad Lister. “They played with toughness and we earned a hard-fought win.”
Senior Kyler Booher took control of the offense and led the Crusaders with 16 points in the game. Paul Harrison recorded 12 points, nine rebounds and four assists as he continues to rehab from a head injury. Jamaal Pryor scored 11 points and pulled down eight rebounds off of the bench, while Jason Wray chipped in 11 points in 15 minutes of play.
North Greenville (15-6) will look to extend its winning streak to a season-high six games when it hosts Truett-McConnell College on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.
