Crusaders set school record for fewest points allowed

Tigerville, SC – The North Greenville men opened the game on a 23-3 run en route to defeating Toccoa Falls College 78-32 on Tuesday night in Hayes Gymnasium.

The Crusaders, who held Toccoa Falls to just 19.2 % shooting from the field, set the school-record for fewest points allowed in a game.

“Toccoa Falls is a well-coached team that plays very hard,” said head coach Chad Lister. “They were just outmanned tonight. We executed well most the night and this was a good win for us before the break.”

Luke Lattimer, Paul Harrison, and Kyler Booher led all starters with 10 points apiece while Phillip Brown came off of the bench to score 10 points and record four blocks. Tyrell Platt continued to show his play-making ability as he scored seven points and dished out seven assists.

The Crusaders (3-2) will now have a week to prepare before they host Montreat College on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.
