NORTH GREENVILLE MEN'S BASKETBALL WINS SECOND GAME STRAIGHT

TIgerville, S.C.—Paul Harrison registered his tenth “double-double” of the season with 32 points and 13 rebounds leading North Greenville (13-10) to a 79-67 win over the Hornets of Morris College.

The 32 points from Harrison led all scorers. Luke Lattimer scored in double figures as well with 17 points. North Greenville trailed only once during the 40 minute contest which was in the opening minute of the game.
NGU’s biggest lead was 14 which was with 14:23 left in the game. For the game the Crusaders shot an even 50% from the field. North Greenville led the Hornets at the half 37-33. NGU came out in the second half at a fast pace opening the second 20 minutes with a 17-7 run. Morris cut the NGU lead to two points with 5:39 left but the Crusaders responded with a 13-4 run to close out the game.
“We had stretches where we defended well and got good looks on the offensive end,” said head coach Chad Lister. “Our goal as a team is a to become more constant in these areas in the next three weeks.”
The men’s basketball team has two more games in the regular season before heading down to Florida for the NCCAA regional tournament. The Crusaders will finish up the season at home on February 23rd against Carver College.
