NGU RUNS PAST HIWASSEE BEHIND HARRISONS RECORD SETTING PERFORMANCE

Madisonville, Tn.—Sophomore forward Paul Harrison set a school record for rebounds and two other players scored in double digits as the North Greenville men’s basketball team defeated the tigers of Hiwassee College, Tennessee 92-68.

Paul Harrison registered his third “double double” of the season scoring 23 points and setting the school record in rebounds with 17. Freshman Guard Millan Rodrigo set a career high in scoring as he accounted for 17 and Kyler Booher accounted for 16 points. “Hiwassee's game plan for this game was to play at a “frantic” pace,” said head coach Chad Lister, “we had too many possessions where we failed to convert but showed a great deal of poise when we needed baskets.” The win over Hiwassee was the Crusaders second straight 20 plus point win in as many games following a 40 point blowout over Warren Wilson College. NGU will return to the floor on January 17th with a road game at Montreat College at 7pm.
