Tigerville, S.C.—Sophomore forward Paul Harrison scored a game high 15 points as the North Greenville men’s basketball team cruised to a 76-36 win over the Warren Wilson College Owls.
The contest was never in doubt as the Crusaders jumped to a 20 point lead at half and never looked back. The Owls were within one point of North Greenville with 13:40 in the first half before the Crusaders began to pull away closing the half with a 26-7 run making the score 38-18.
In the second half, North Greenville outscored the Owls 38-18 defeating the owls by 40 points. The Crusaders dominated the game in every major category including bench points (39-17), second chance points (13-4), points in paint (46-10), and points off of turnovers (27-3).
“I thought our guys played very well defensive end,” said head coach Chad Lister “we needed that to overcome a poor shooting night from the three point line.” The Crusaders were 2 of 20 from the three point line which was good enough for ten percent. Crusaders will be on the road for the next four games and will return home on January 23 for a 4pm contest against Allen University.
