Asheville, N.C.—The North Greenville men’s basketball team played its way back into the win column on Thursday night with a 103-57 trouncing of Warren Wilson College.
The leading scorer for North Greenville was Paul Harrison with 22 points. Luke Lattimer and Jason Wray also scored in double figures with Lattimer scoring 12 and wray scoring 11. The Crusaders shot an impressive 55.3 percent from the field. The Crusaders led 50-27 at the end of the first half.
“Our defensive intensity set the tone for the game tonight,” remarked head coach Chad Lister after the impressive victory, “We shot well from the field and caught them [Warren Wilson] on a cold shooting night.”
The Crusaders will play two more games before Christmas both of them being at home. The first will be Friday December 11th at 6pm followed by a game Tuesday night at 7:30.
