CRUSADERS WIN AT HOME FOR SECOND NIGHT IN A ROW

Tigerville, S.C. – North Greenville (3-2) overcomes spotty shooting to beat Montreat College 68-49. NGU shot 37 percent in the first half and 46 percent in the second.

The Crusaders were lead by sophomore forward Paul Harrison who secured his second double-double of the season corralling 10 rebounds and accounting for 20 points which lead all scorers. Harrison also went an impressive 12 of 13 from the charity stripe. Guard Luke Lattimer also scored in double digits accounting for 14 points and collecting 7 rebounds. “There were some sloppy stretches in which both teams didn’t execute very well,” says head coach Chad Lister, “We were able to make shots down the stretch and we did a good job limiting them to one shot.” The Crusaders will have a week off for the holiday and return to the hardwood Tuesday December 1st with a game against Limestone College at 7:30pm in Hayes Gymnasium.
