The North Greenville men’s basketball team had no solution for Demetrice Terrel of Allen University
Thursday night at Hayes Gymnasium.
Terrel scored an opponent season high 30 points, which included
nine three-pointers, to lead the Yellow Jackets of Columbia, SC past the Crusaders 78-62 at Hayes Gym.
Allen (2-14) led by as much as 10 points late in the first half, but NGU freshman center Paul Harrison and

The Crusaders stayed even early in the second half, and took their third lead of the game at 50-49
with 9:52 left after a layup by Tyler Mains. The Jackets then reeled off a 10-0 run in the next 3:40
to take a 61-51 lead with 5:12 left. Allen also added another 14-4 stretch and NGU went scoreless for 3
and a half minutes inside the last four minutes as the Yellow Jackets pulled away.
