Crusaders soar past Owls
Zach Babbitt posts double-double in points and rebounds

TIGERVILLE, SC--Zach Babbitt recorded his first double-double of his collegiate career, posting 13 points and 12 rebounds as North Greenville University defeated Warren Wilson College 76-55 Tuesday night in Hayes Gymnasium. North Greenville improves to 4-9 on the season, while Warren Wilson falls to 4-9.

The Owls played the game close for the first thirteen minutes of the ballgame, staying within six points. North Greenville hit a hot streak to close out the first half, extending the lead to 18 points at the break. The Crusaders shot 66.7% in the first half.

The Crusaders extended the lead to as many as 30 points late in the second half. North Greenville out-shot Warren Wilson 47.1% to 33.3% for the game.

Austin Randel led all scorers with 23 points for the Crusaders, while Kyler Vitko added 21 points and nine rebounds. Kyler Booher chipped in ten points.

Nate Bell led the Owls with 15 points, while Josh Neri scored 12 points.

The Crusaders will return to action Saturday afternoon at 4:00 as they host Allen University.
