Adam Griggs led NGU with 16 points

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. − The freshman backcourt tandem of D.J. Ferguson and John Pietkiewicz combined for 34 points on 13-of-23 shooting from the field to lead Flagler College to an 81-56 win over North Greenville University of Tigersville, S.C. in a non-conference menís basketball game Monday night at Flagler Gym. Flagler wins its third consecutive game and moves to 9-4 overall while North Greenville falls to 2-9.

Ferguson recorded his second consecutive double-double with 17 points and 13 assists and also grabbed eight rebounds. He made 7-of-10 from the field and also grabbed four steals. Kyler Vitko layed one in off the glass off a Nathan Wilson pass with 14 minutes to play in the game and North Greenville was down just 51-46.

Over the next 7:28, Flagler would go on a 24-3 run and pull out to a 26-point lead (75-49) to seal the victory.

North Greenville returns to action Saturday at home versus Morris College. Tipoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
