TIGERVILLE, SC—North Greenville University men's basketball coach Chad Lister announced that Luke Lattimer, Tim Franklin, and T.J. Resper have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Crusaders.
"We feel very blessed to have these young men join our program," Lister said. "These are three young men who will be integral parts of our future success.”
Lattimer, a 6-4 wing from St. Joseph’s High School (IN), led his team to a 17-6 record in his senior season with an average of 10 points and 8 rebounds per game. Lattimer played for Coach Keith Kurowski.
“Luke is extremely versatile and athletic,” said Lister. “He plays the game with a tremendous amount of heart and has a chance to make an immediate impact on our program.”
Franklin, a 5-9 guard from Wren High School (SC), averaged 10 points and 5 assists per game and led his team to the 4-A Upper State Championship Game in his senior season. Franklin, who played for Coach Fran Campbell, was a two-time All-Region selection and named MVP of the Seahawk Classic and Chick-Fil-A Classic
“Tim is a catalyst on the court,” said Lister. “He makes great decisions and makes the players around him better.”
Resper is a 5-10 point guard from Central Cabarrus High School (NC). He averaged 14 points and 3 assists under Coach Scott Fortune.
“T.J. is a solid point guard who has tremendous court vision,” added Lister. “His size may have kept other schools away but there is no question that he will be great in our system.”
"We believe that these young men are exactly the type of student-athletes that we are looking for at North Greenville,” Lister added. “We think we have found three young men that will be a great representation of NGU and our basketball program.”
