Former NGU Footballer honored by local elementary school

Simpsonville, S.C. – Former North Greenville football player and alumnus Terrell Davis was honored by students, faculty, and staff on Monday morning at a local elementary school.

Davis, a school resource officer at Rudolph Elementary School in Simpsonville, South Carolina conducts morning traffic for the school and students at the school wanted to honor the former NGU linebacker for keeping them safe during the school year.

Davis received gift cards and other gifts from the students for his service to the school and community. “It’s basically one or two people that thank me but never something like this, never,” remarked Davis to WSPA News. “I’m very appreciative. I love this school, this family, and I thank them for allowing me to be a servant.

Davis was a starter for the NGU football team and was part of the team’s Victory Bowl Championship squad in 2006.
