Hurricane Matthew forces NGU vs. Citadel football game to Tigerville

Tigerville, S.C. – The North Greenville versus The Citadel game scheduled to be played on Saturday afternoon in Charleston, South Carolina has been moved to Thursday night in Tigerville, S.C. due to the impending impact of Hurricane Matthew. Kickoff is officially slated for 7pm in Younts Stadium.

The Crusaders and Bulldogs were set to kickoff at 2pm at Johnson Hagood Stadium, but the threat of severe weather from Hurricane Matthew and evacuations has forced the Bulldogs inland to Greenville.

The projected track of the category four hurricane has the storm pushing further to the west than initially thought, impacting the coast of South Carolina including Charleston.

The Citadel is the only the second Division I team to play at Younts Stadium as the Crusaders hosted Charleston Southern in 2007. North Greenville will honor all tickets purchased for the game. Tickets will also be sold at the ticket booth in front of Younts Stadium. Those unable to make it to Tigerville can follow the game via live video, radio from 95.5 The Vibe, or via live statistics. All links will be provided below.

TICKETS WILL BE $20 AT THE GATE
