NGU MOVES UP ONE SPOT IN THIS WEEK'S SUPER REGIONAL POLL

Indianapolis, IN—The North Greenville football team climbed one spot this week in the NCAA Division II Super Region 2 Poll, taking the fourth spot, behind only West Georgia, North Alabama, and Tuskegee.

The Crusaders were fifth last week in the first poll but moved up one spot after beating Wingate University, Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs held the seventh spot in the initial rankings which came out on October 26th.

Wingate fell out of the top seven while Catawba fell one spot to number five. The three teams ranked above NGU in this week's poll are all ranked in the NCAA Division II coaches poll, led by West Georgia who is ranked number one. Tuskegee checked in at 14 while North Alabama sits in 19th.

The Crusaders will take on Carson Newman this Saturday. The Eagles are 7th in the region.
