Tigerville, S.C. - The North Greenville Football Team will return to the airwaves this season as My-40 WMYA will broadcast the September 12th game between the Crusaders and Lenoir-Rhyne University.
NGU and LR is scheduled for a 7pm kickoff in Younts Stadium. This will be the second televised meeting between the two squads as the Crusaders earned a 35-27 win over the Bears during the 2011 season.
The Crusaders have played in four televised games in the last 10 years, going 2-2 in those four contests. NGU's other win was a 27-7 triumph over Tusculum College, also in 2011.
"We are extremely excited to have a televised game this season and to work with Jack Connors and the WMYA team," remarked Associate Athletic Director Micah Sepko. "It's a great opportunity to showcase North Greenville University and our mission, as well as gain some positive exposure for our football program."
North Greenville will open the season on September 3rd at Charleston Southern University with a 7pm kickoff.
