Tigerville, S.C.—The 2015 North Greenville Football schedule has been released and it features five home games for the Crusaders.
North Greenville will open the season on September 3rd at Charleston Southern University. The Crusaders and Buccaneers will renew their football series after taking a hiatus during the 2014 season. The game will be the first night game at Buccaneer field with a 7pm kickoff.
NGU will open the home slate of games the next weekend as Lenoir Rhyne comes to Tigerville. NGU will take on the Bears at 7pm in Younts Stadium where the Crusaders were 5-1 in 2014.
NGU's longest road trip will come in week six when NGU makes the 714-mile trek to Fort Meyers, Florida to take on the Ava Maria Gyrnenes. The October 10th meeting will be the second meeting between the two programs after the Crusaders won the 2014 matchup 45-21 in Tigerville.
NGU's scheduling alliance with the South Atlantic Conference officially ended last season, but the Crusaders will still take on several SAC opponents. Along with Lenoir Rhyne on week two, North Greenville will play at Newberry (September 19th), at Mars Hill (October 10th), at Wingate (October 31st), and at Carson Newman (November 7th). North Greenville will host SAC member Tusculum on October 17th.
The rest of North Greenville's home games include UNC Pembroke on September 9th, Our God's Chosen on October 24th, and UVA Lynchburg on November 14th. UNC Pembroke kickoff is scheduled for 7pm while Tusculum and North Greenville will start at 2:30. OGC and UVA-Lynchburg will both be played at 1pm.
