Martino Earns USA College Football Honor
Hoover, AL - North Greenville University’s Freddie Martino has been named the Small College Division Offensive Player of the Week by USA College Sports as announced on Wednesday morning.

The senior receiver was selected after an outstanding performance against Lenoir Rhyne University in which he caught a school-record 19 passes for 206 yards and one touchdown. For the season, Martino has totaled 77 receptions for 924 yards and six touchdowns through six games. His total receptions and receiving yards currently lead NCAA Division II in both categories.

As a result of Martino’s performance this season, he has been invited to participate in the USA College Football Bowl in Hoover, AL.
