Greenville, SC – Two members of the North Greenville University football team were named as members of the 2011 All-NCCAA Football team as announced on Thursday afternoon.
Quarterback Willy Korn was named NCCAA Co-Offensive Player of the Year and a member of the First Team Offense. For the season, Korn completed 61.6% of his passes for 2, 525 yards and 27 touchdowns while rushing 139 times for 462 yards and seven touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, safety Nick Rosamonda earned a spot on the First Team Defense after a senior season in which he led the team with 82 total tackles. The Debary, FL native also recorded 10 tackles for loss, 10 pass break ups, eight quarterback hurries, four interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, one sack and one fumble recovery.
The North Greenville University coaching staff was honored as the 2011 NCCAA Coach Staff of the Year.
