CANNED FOOD DRIVE PART OF VICTORY BOWL ADMISSION

Tigerville, SC--

As part of the mission and outreach objective of the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association’s 2010 Victory Bowl football game, to be held at North Greenville University on Saturday Nov. 20, a canned food drive will take place.
Fans attending the game are asked to bring at least one canned food item to Younts Stadium in Tigerville.  All food will be donated to the Greer Community Ministries Center, which sponsors a Meals on Wheels program as part of its many services.
With the holiday season rapidly approaching and many families in the Upstate in need, the North Greenville and Campbellsville University (KY) football teams will be participating in several outreach programs in the Greenville community on Friday.  NGU Coach Jamey Chadwell encourages fans from both teams to bring as many canned food items to the game Saturday.
Collection boxes will be available near the Younts Stadium gates.
