Tigerville, S.C.—
Two days after a 4-0 shutout over Montreat, the NGU women’s soccer team took the field for a Tuesday night matchup against NCCAA foe Emmanuel College.

The lone goal for the Crusaders came from junior forward Leah Ward who scored on a penalty kick in the 31st minute of the game.

The PK goal was the 13th goal of the season for Ward which leads the team. Senior goal keeper Jessica Binkley registered 7 saves in 1-0 shutout for the Lady Crusaders.
“It was a great to get another region win under our belt” said head coach Jesse McCormick, “now we have to get ready to play our next game.” North Greenville’s next game will be November 6 against Palm Beach Atlantic followed by the season finally against King College on November 12.
