DAMIEN WRIGHT NAMED ALL INDEPENDENT DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF WEEK

University of South Carolina graduate and transfer Damien Wright was named ICAA All-Independent Defensive Player of the Week for his performance vs. Charleston Southern. The grad school linebacker who hails from Sumter, SC tallied an astounding 19 tackles on the game and was seemingly everywhere on the field for the crusaders.

Wright has notched 18 solo tackles on the year to go along with a fumble recovery and 2 tackles for loss, and has started in all five games for the Crusaders.
