Football adds South Dakota to 2008 schedule
Mike Taylor announces Nov.1 game vs. USD

TIGERVILLE, SC--North Greenville University has added the University of South Dakota to its 2008 football schedule, head coach Mike Taylor announced. The Crusaders will host the Coyotes November 1, 2008 at Younts Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon.

In 2008, USD will compete in its first season as a NCAA D-I FCS member. The Coyotes, who play their home games in the DakotaDome, are currently a Division II program. The game will mark the first time both schools have played a team from each respective state.

Adding the Coyotes to the 2008 slate gives NGU a complete 11-game schedule with five home games.

"USD is another good team coming to Tigerville this year and we're excited to play them as they transition to Division I," says Taylor. "And it is big for us to have a full 11-game schedule with a fifth home game."
