Tailgating, TV, Football, and more...Crusaders set to host Newberry Thursday night

TIGERVILLE, SC--North Greenville University is set to host Newberry College Thursday night, but more than a football game is planned at Younts Stadium. The atmosphere is sure to be electric as the Crusaders play the first televised game from Younts Stadium.

The game will be broadcast on Charter Channel 10 in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson. Fred Cunningham and Ralph Patterson will call the action.

Beginning at 5:00 p.m. the Crusader Club is offering an array of activities. Coach's Low Country Boil will be available for purchase for $10/plate ($5 for children), Rock band Chasen will be performing from 5:00-6:30 p.m, and a Punt, Pass, and Kick competition begins at 5:00 for local youth football players.

The game itself, pitting 2-0 Newberry against 0-2 North Greenville will kickoff at 7:07 p.m.
