Crusaders 23rd in NCAA II poll; ranked high in stats

TIGERVILLE, SC- North Greenville University rose to new heights in the latest Don Hansen NCAA Division II poll, coming in at 23rd. The Crusaders continue to rank #1 in the NCCAA poll heading into this weekend's Victory Bowl at Younts Stadium.

The latest NCAA statistics were released today. The Crusaders' balanced offensive attack continues to be one of the most prolific in all of Division II, ranking #3 in total offense with 462.2 yards per game and #3 in scoring offense with 38.2 points per game. North Greenville averages 240.1 yards per game rushing (#8) and 222.1 yards per game passing (#35).

Several Crusaders are ranked in individual statistical categories. DE Andre Bernardi remaines the national leader for tackles for a loss category with a 2.2 per game average. Bernardi is also ranked 9th in pass sacks (1.0 spg). Ken Floyd enters the national rankings at 35th in tackles for a loss with 1.5 per game.

RB Matt Moore is ranked in the Top 35 in three categories. Moore is 20th in rushing (101.6) and 15th in all-purpose yards (149.4 ypg). Moore and RB Rashad Cummings are tied for 22nd in scoring with 7.6 points per game. Cummings is also 27th in rushing (92.7 ppg).

In the passing game, QB Eric Moeller is ranked 13th in passing efficiency (154.9 rating). WR Travis Talbert moves up to 27th in receiving yards per game (77.4 ypg).
