Crusaders climb polls and NCAA stats

TIGERVILLE, SC- North Greenville remains #1 among NCCAA teams for the sixth consecutive week by Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette. The Crusaders also cracked the Don Hansen top 25 for NCAA Division II schools. North Greenville remains high in the latest statistics released by the NCAA.

For the third consecutive week, the Crusaders boast the third best offense among 143 NCAA Division II teams, averaging 463.8 yards per game. The Crusaders also come in at #3 in scoring offense with 38.7 points per game. North Greenville's rushing attack remains 7th (238 ypg). North Greenville's rushing defense is 25th in the nation, allowing only 88.6 yards per game.

Andre Bernardi leads a group of five Crusaders ranked in the top 35 in various individual categories. Bernardi is #2 in the nation in tackles for a loss with 2.4 per game. He is also ranked 15th in pass sacks with 0.9 per game.

Running back Rashad Cummings and wide receiver Travis Talbert are both ranked in two categories each. Cummings improves to 24th in rushing (99.2 ypg) and 19th in scoring (8.0 ppg). Talbert is 32nd in receiving yards per game (75.6) and 15th in punt return yardage (13.8 ypr).

QB Eric Moeller moves up to 10th in passing efficiency with a 154.1 rating. Running back Matt Moore is 22nd in all-purpose yards with 131.7 yards per game.
