Crusaders move up in NCAA stats; remain NCCAA #1

TIGERVILLE, SC- North Greenville remains #1 among NCCAA teams for the fourth consecutive week by Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette. The Crusaders also moved up in several NCAA statistical categories according to the latest statistics released.

The NGU offense is ranked sixth in total offense (442.7 ypg) among NCAA Division II teams after amassing 549 yards in the 55-0 win at Brevard on Saturday. NGU is also in the top ten in scoring offense, coming in at eighth with 35.2 points per game. The Crusader rushing attack is 10th (222.2 ypg). North Greenville's defense is ranked 33rd in rushing defense, giving up only 92 yards per game.

Defensive end Andre Bernardi moves up to third in tackles for a loss (2.2 per game) and fourth in pass sacks (1.4 per game). Quarterback Eric Moeller improves to 18th in passing efficiency with a 148.6 rating. Wide receiver Travis Talbert is 29th in punt returns.

Running backs Rashad Cummings and Matt Moore are both ranked in two categories. Cummings is 29th in rushing (97 ypg), while Moore comes in at 34th 85.7 ypg). Cummings is ranked 24th in scoring (8 ppg). Moore is 33rd in All-Purpose yards with 134.2 yards per game.
