CRUSADERS WEATHER THE STORM
Crusader Tracking Pass

TIGERVILLE, SC- 2006 Crusader Football Camp continued Tuesday despite a rainstorm. As standard procedure dictates, Head Coach Mike Taylor ordered his team inside Hendricks Athletics Center to avoid some brief lightning just after the start of practice. Luckily, the front moved fast and Taylor gave the all clear soon after.

After breaking up into position groups, the tempo of practice was crisp and efficient. The players and coaches moved from drill to drill with enthusiasm. Quarterback Eric Moeller threw accurately, even in the early rain. The Crusader receivers made some exciting catches throughout the afternoon. Former Crusader great Amos Lamb helped coach the offensive line. The line reviewed blocking schemes as the defensive backs practice agility drills. Overall, morale was high and the practice was very productive. The team will practice once a day at 4:00 p.m. throughout the week, with two-a-days beginning Saturday morning. The team will have an intersquad scrimmage Saturday evening at 6:15 p.m.

Practices and scrimmages are open to the public. Check back often for 2006 training camp updates.
