Tate leads NCAA Division II in solo tackles

TIGERVILLE, SC- Two weeks ago, North Greenville senior linebacker Isaac Tate was ranked 16th in solo tackles for NCAA Division II. After two straight weeks of hauling in double-digit solo tackles, Tate finds himself leading the nation. Tate had 10 solo tackles and two assists in the loss to Concord last Saturday. The week before, he made 11 solo and 2 assists at Division I-AA Jacksonville University. He now totals 61 solo tackles and 44 assists for the season. He moved up one place to 6th in total tackles with 105.

Senior running back Travis Mosley made his way back into the NCAA rankings. He currently sits at 41st in rushing and scoring. Wide receiver Travis Talbert is 48th in receptions per game and 43rd in receiving yards per game. Defensive back Chad Castor stays in 2nd place for forced fumbles. Kicker Adrian Escalona is 42nd in field goals per game.
