Tigerville, S.C.—Four players had two RBI including Andrew Locklear who was 3-5 with a run scored as North Greenville won its second consecutive game with an 11-7 win over Young Harris College.

Young Harris took a 3-0 lead early with a run in the first and two in third. A first inning RBI single would give the Mountain Lions a 1-0 advantage. YHC would triple its advantage over NGU in the third with a two run homer from Brett Westmorland.

The Crusaders would figure things out in the bottom of the third inning scoring six runs on six hits. Foley George would send a two run blast over the left field fence to score Jae Roberts who also picked up an RBI in the inning to quickly even things up at 3-3. Tony Davila, Josh Black, and Drew Lipscomb would also get in on the action delivering RBI base hits as NGU cruised to a 6-3 lead.

The Crusaders and Mountain Lions would trade single run innings in the fifth while YHC also added a run in the sixth to cut North Greenville's lead to 8-5. The Mountains Lions inched closer in the eighth inning with two more runs to cut NGU's cushion to just one run. An RBI double and sacrifice would move the score to 8-7.

North Greenville put the game away in the eighth however, scoring three more runs. Andrew Locklear would score two for the Crusaders with a two RBI single while Allen Staton's eighth homerun of the season would give NGU a 9-7 lead earlier in the frame.

Shane Bishop earned the win for the Crusaders on the mound after pitching 3.2 innings. He allowed three runs on three hits. Allen Staton finished 2-5 with two runs scored and an RBI while Foley George continued his hot streak going 2-3 with two RBI and a run scored. Jae Roberts had two hits for NUG along with Tony Davila and Josh Black.

The Crusaders will take on Limestone College this weekend in a three game series starting Friday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30. The Crusaders and Saints will play a double-header on Saturday starting at 12pm.
