Mars Hill, N.C.—The North Greenville Baseball team dropped its third game in as many chances Wednesday night after falling to Mars Hill College 15-7 in Mars Hill North Carolina.

The Crusaders fell behind early to the lions after a five run third inning. Mars Hill added four more runs in the fifth and sixth innings to make the score 13-0. The Crusaders finally dented the board in the seventh inning scoring six runs to cut the MHC lead in half.

The Lions added another run in the seventh and eight innings. The Crusaders added a run in the eighth inning but were unable to muster enough offense for the comeback.

The loss drops NGU to 18-9 on the season with just under 20 games left. The Crusaders will return home on Friday to open a three game series with West Virginia State.
