Mason, Ohion—Junior Mike Benjamin pitched seven innings allowing only two runs in a complete seven inning performance as the Crusaders defeat number one seed Bluefield 4-2 to remain unbeatin in the NCCAA World Series.

Leading North Greenville offensively was Derek Fulmer who was 2-4 from the plate with a double. Adam Taylor also had another solid performance going 1-4 with an RBI. Anthony Foulk was another top performer for NGU going 2-4 as well.

The Crusaders put the pressure on Bluefield early in the contest scoring two runs in the third inning and two in the fourth. BC cut the NGU lead in half in the bottom of the fourth but were held scoreless by North Greenvilles solid defensive performance.

On the mound, Mike Benjamin accounted for one strike out and one walk while allowing two runs on four hits.

North Greenville is the lone unbeaten team in the tournament heading into the final day of play on Saturday. The Crusaders are two wins from the National Championship and will take on Southeastern University for their first game. Gametime is projected to be 12:30 (Subject to Change).
