CRUSADERS PICK UP FIFTH WIN OF THE SEASON WITH 16-7 POUNDING OF SWU

Central, S.C.—Adam Taylor hit a grand slam in the fifth inning leading the Crusader baseball team to an impressive 16-7 victory over the Southern Wesleyan Warriors.

The grand slam by Taylor came with 2 outs and put the Crusaders up 11-0. Pitching for North Greenville was Drew Province who is 2-0 on the season. Jacob Goetze led the Crusaders offensively with 3 hits.
“It was a big win for us but we got to get back to work tomorrow,” said head coach Travis Henson. “We have started the season off well but we cant get complacent and have to keep working.”
The Crusaders will wrap up the three game series with Southern Wesleyan tomorrow with a double header with the first pitch scheduled to be thrown at noon.
