Lincoln Memorial of Harrogate, Tenn. had big innings late in both games of a doubleheader in Tigerville as the Railsplitters downed North Greenville 10-2 and 9-1.

LMU scored six runs in the 5th inning of a scheduled seven inning contest to break up a tight contest in game one.  Derek Fulmer started a big day at the plate going 2-3 and Randy Stegall went 1-3 for North Greenville.  Freshman Anthony Foulk went 1-2 but knocked in both of NGU’s runs. 
Fulmer and Dayton Lupton both went 2-3 at the plate for the Crusaders and Lupton scored NGU’s only run in the 5th inning of the second game.  Tanner Yarboro took the loss on the mound for Coach Travis Henson’s club.  Grayson Smith had a solid start as he went three innings and gave up no earned runs for NGU.  LMU pounded out 12 hits in the game on three Crusader pitchers.  LMU scored three runs in the sixth and three in the seventh inning of game one to escape with a win in the second game.
North Greenville will travel to Brevard for a single game on Wednesday, March 4 before returning to host a three game set with Davis & Elkins of West Virginia this Friday and Saturday.
