Baseball splits with SWU
Josh hohn paces NGU with 4 RBI in game two

TIGERVILLE, SC--North Greenville University split an afternoon doubleheader with Southern Wesleyan University Wednesday afternoon. SWU took the front-end 5-4 in eight innings, while the Crusaders won the night-cap 6-5. NGU is now 5-32-1 on the season.

Josh Dwalt singled in Davey Blackburn in the top of the eighth inning to propel the Warriors to victory. Dustin Belk picked up the win for SWU, while Devin Vance took the loss for NGU.

Josh Hohn led NGU at the plate, batting 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. Chris Harbit added another two RBI.

In game two, Daniel Goodnight pitched 4 and a third innings to pick up the win.

NGU scored three runs in the third inning, two in the fifth, and one in the sixth to win the night-cap. Hohn batted 2-for-3 with four RBI including a two-run homer in the fifth inning.

The Crusaders will be back in action Friday and Saturday at home versus Brevard.
