Tyler Jackson enters his third year as the hitting coach for North Greenville University baseball team. Under Jackson’s tutelage, the Crusaders have improved vastly at the plate. NGU hit just .236 in 2014 but improved to .293 in his second season to.307 in 2016.
Jackson comes from the College of Charleston where he spent two years playing and the last year as an undergraduate assistant for the Cougars. In the three years Jackson was apart of two teams that advanced to the NCAA Regionals and one team that advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals.
Before his time in Charleston, Jackson attended Spartanburg Methodist College. In his two years at SMC. He was first team all-region both seasons with the Pioneers.
He graduated from the College of Charleston in May with a degree in Public Health.
