Andre Bernardi is North Greenville University’s Director of Strength & Conditioning. He was hired by Athletic Director Jan McDonald in 2012 as the first Director of Strength and Conditioning in school history and played a large role in the design of the 5000 square foot Kelly Strength and Conditioning Center.
In this role, Andre is responsible for developing a comprehensive player development program designed to achieve three primary goals: injury prevention, athletic performance enhancement, and mental discipline development. He has obtained the following certifications:

A 2010 graduate of North Greenville University, Bernardi received a bachelor’s of science degree in Sports Management. He also was a four-year (2006-10) letter winner in football, serving as captain for three years (2007-2009). Bernardi was named to the All-South Carolina All-Decade Team (2000-2010), NCAA All- American (2006, 2008, and 2009), 2-year All-South Carolina State Team (2008, 2009) and 4-year All-Independent College Athletic Association team (2006-2009). He currently still holds the Division II all-time Tackles for Loss record with 78 (2009) and has since been entered into the North Greenville University Hall of Fame.
Bernardi completed his MBA from North Greenville University in 2012, where he led workouts for Football, Women’s Basketball and Softball. Upon graduating, he was hired as the Director of Strength and Conditioning.
A native of Marietta, GA., Bernardi attended Osborne High School and was a three sport athlete. He and his wife Kaitlyn were married in June 2013.
