Josh Milner is entering his 5th season with the
North Greenville University basketball program.
Coach Milner completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration
here at NGU. He is a 2010 graduate of
Clemson University where he earned a BS in Health Science and a minor in
Athletic Leadership.
Coach Milner is involved in all aspects of the program
including on floor coaching, recruiting, strength and conditioning, player
development, scouting and game preparations.
Before joining the NGU staff, he began his coaching career
at Clemson University where he worked under Joey Batson in the Strength and
Conditioning department. While there he
had the opportunity to work with both men’s and women’s basketball, as well as
football, baseball, volleyball, golf, and soccer. By joining the staff at North Greenville he
returned back to his first love in basketball.
A highlight of his coaching career came after joining the NGU staff when
the program won their first Conference Carolinas Championship and made their first
NCAA regional appearance in the 2014-15 season.
Coach Milner was born in Greenville, South Carolina on July
27, 1988. He graduated from Eastside
high school where he was a co-captain of both the basketball and baseball
teams. Milner currently resides back in
Greenville, South Carolina.
