Former North Greenville women's soccer assistant coach Andy Aulick has been named the new head coach of the men's soccer program.

Aulick joined the Crusaders as an assistant coach for the women's soccer team under Andy Robinson in 2017. Since then, the program has achieved three consecutive winning seasons as well as three straight Conference Carolinas Tournament appearances.

Andrew Aulick began his coaching career serving as the head coach of the Buchholz High School boys varsity program in Gainesville, FL. where he coached for 5 years.  Under his leadership the program gained a 76-20-16 record.  During this time he also led the varsity boys team to the state final four, regional championship and its first district title in over 12 years. The program finished with a top 10 national ranking in 2012-13 according to MaxPreps.  After being nominated, Aulick served as the FACA Florida North State All Star Boys Head & Assistant Coach in 2011-2013 and All-County Coach of the Year in the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.  Outside of high school, he also served as a staff coach for Gainesville Soccer Alliance, a club soccer organization, from 2009-2014.

Andrew Aulick transitioned to the Greenville area in 2014 and began working with club teams at Carolina FC in Spartanburg.  He served as the 00 Boys and 98 Girls Head Coach from 2015-2017.  He led his 98 girls team to a 3rd place finish in the state in 2015 and a 2nd place finish in the state in 2016.  His girl’s team also competed in the Southern Regional Premier League and finished in 2nd place, making one of the best showings from a Carolina FC team in club history.

Aulick is accredited with an Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA and a National License from the USSF.

In his playing career, Aulick was a high school captain and defensive standout player leading his team to a Florida state championship in 2002.  He then went on to play collegiately for the University of Florida Club team from 2003-2007 where he was a 4-year starter.  The Gators team won the Florida Collegiate League in the 2005-2007 seasons and was the Southeast Regional finalists, finishing in the top 25 nationally in 2005.

Outside of coaching, Aulick is the Head Soccer Coordinator for the Upward Star Center. Andrew and his wife, Marissa, have three kids; a daughter, Ariella, and two sons, Judah and Callum.
