Graduate Assistant

Alma Mater North Greenville University '18

North Greenville University former standout Chris Inman has been brought on as a Graduate Assistant Coach for NGU Men's Soccer after spending a year in Columbus, Ohio working with Columbus Crew SC in Major League Soccer as a player development coach and marketing intern.  Inman played two seasons under head coach Bill Martin where he captained the team both his junior and senior year.  He is headed into his first season as a graduate assistant coach in 2019. Inman will act as a director of men's soccer operations and recruiting coordinator for the Crusaders.

He has spent time coaching in four different states at a variety of levels.  His most recent position has been as an assistant coach at Eastside High School where he helped lead the team to a AAAA State Championship match in 2019.

During his collegiate days, Inman played four seasons for the Crusaders from 2014-18, starting in a combined 41 games out of 54 games played.  Inman played all over the pitch as a defender, midfielder, and forward helping to lead the team to their first Conference Carolinas Tournament appearance in four years during the 2017 season.

Prior to coaching at North Greenville University, Inman played semi-professionally for both the Knoxville Force in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and for the West Virginia Chaos in United Soccer League 2 (USL2).   Inman, who resides in Greenville, earned his undergraduate degree in Sports Management (Business) from NGU in 2018.
