Tigerville, S.C. - The North Greenville chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be hosting a fundraiser registry drive for "Be The Match", an organization which aims to match bone marrow donors with people facing life-threatening forms of blood cancer.
"Be The Match" representatives will be on campus on March 15th before a school-sponsored concert featuring Phil Wickman at 5 pm and on March 16th from 10 am to 11:30 am before and after the monthly FCA gathering.
For people with blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, or other diseases, a cure exists. Be The Match connects patients with their donor match for a life-saving marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant. An ordinary person could be someone's cure as a member of the Be The Match Registry, financial contributor or volunteer. Patients and their families can turn to Be The Match for one-on-one support, education, and guidance before, during and after transplant.
