High Point, N.C. – North Greenville student athletes dominated the Conference Carolinas headlines this week, claiming four of the league's performer of the week awards. 

The Crusaders claimed the "Player of the Week" nod in men's lacrosse, baseball, and softball while also claiming the league award for Pitcher of the Week in softball. Connor Grant claimed the title for baseball, while Austin Dixon reeled in the award for men's lacrosse. Taylor Koon earned player of the week in softball while Amanda Coffrin turned in a pair of solid starts to earn Pitcher of the Week. 

Connor Grant was tabbed the Conference Carolinas Baseball Player of the Week, while King University's Octavio Mirabal was tabbed the Conference Carolinas Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played Feb. 5-11, the Conference announced today. A junior from Columbia, S.C., Grant produced seven hits, including three homers, and seven RBI with a .538 average to lead NGU to a 3-1 week.

 Austin Dixon has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 5-11, the Conference announced today. A sophomore from Simpsonville, S.C., Dixon notched 13 points (10g, 3a) on the week to lead NGU to its first-ever 2-0 start in program history. In a 22-5 thumping of Shorter, Dixon scored five times and handed out three helpers to register eight points in the season opener. He would then score five more times in a 12-6 victory over Coker to close out the week.

Taylor Koon was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week, while teammate Amanda Coffrin was tabbed the Conference Carolinas Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played Feb. 5-11, the Conference announced today. A freshman from Rutherfordton, N.C., Koon led the Crusaders to a 3-1 week after batting .500 with five hits and five RBI. Her best performance was a 2-for-2 game with two RBI in a 2-0 win against Anderson (S.C.).

Coffrin, a senior from Mauldin, S.C., picked up a pair of wins for NGU last week. In 14 innings of action, Coffrin notched 15 strikeouts, issued nine walks and scattered four hits.
