168 NGU STUDENT ATHLETES EARN PRESIDENTIAL HONOR ROLL NODS

High Point, N.C. - The Conference Carolinas announced on Monday afternoon that 1,914 student athletes have been named to the Presidential Honor Roll for the Spring 2015 semester.

The student athletes selected had a grade point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale. All student athletes including underclassmen, transfers, and those who play non-conference sports, are eligible for the recognition as long as they have participated in a sport for the semester in question.

The Presidential Honor Roll is awarded in each of the spring and fall semesters, recognizing the scholastic achievements of student-athletes for each semester. Limestone College led the way with 272 representatives followed by Pfeiffer and Emmanuel with 228 and 221 honorees respectively. This year's award winners increased by more than 500 athletes following the 1,401 representatives in the spring of 2014.

North Greenville University clocked in with 168 on this year's list. Men's Soccer led the way on the men's side with 19 honorees while Women's Lacrosse placed 15 to lead the women's teams. The NGU Women's Tennis Team scored 100% participation as every player earned a spot.
