High Point, N.C.—Three North Greenville golfers have been honored by the Conference Carolinas coaches, as All-Conference award winners, as announced by the league on Monday evening.
For the women, AnnaLeis Dibert was honored as a Second Team All-Conference performer, after completing her best season yet as a member of the Crusader golf program. Dibert finished the 2013-2014 season, with three top 10 finishes, and a top 20 finish on her resume’. Her best finish came on March 11, when she turned in a second place finish at the Hilton Head Lakes Invitational, her best finish to date.
The Crusaders boasted one First Team All-Conference selection, as Josh ONeal was honored by the league coaches for his outstanding 2013-2014 campaign. ONeal put together a solid senior season in which he finished outside the top 25 just twice. His resume’ includes to finishes in the top 25, two top 10 finishes, and three finishes in the top five including one win at the inaugural Cliffs Intercollegiate, hosted by the Crusaders on March 30th and April 1st.
Rounding out the post season awards for the Crusaders was junior Tucker MacDonald. MacDonald put together a stellar junior year, finishing no worse than 25th in eight of NGU’s nine matches this season. In those top 25 finishes, MacDonald has compiled two first place finishes at the Anderson University Invitational in September, and the Tennessee River Rumble, just last week.
The Crusaders will wrap up the 2013-2014 season today in the final round of the Conference Carolinas post season tournament.
