Tigerville, SC – During the first part of the 2012 semester, the North Greenville University Athletic Department was working hard assisting the NGU grounds crew by spreading mulch to help prepare the NGU athletic facilities for the upcoming seasons.
Assistant Athletic Director Micah Sepko and his staff of five graduate assistants and three interns spent the summer months laying mulch and landscaping the athletic facilities, including Younts Stadium and Pepsi Stadium.
“As disciples of Christ we are called to serve,” said former cross country runner and current graduate assistant for operations Cameron Stober. “This was an opportunity for us to not only serve the University, but to serve God as well. This University has done a lot for me personally and I am glad to be able to give back.”
The community service projects will continue throughout the year as NGU Athletics looks to make a positive impact on the NGU campus, and surrounding areas.
