CRUSADERS TAKE A DAY TO HANG OUT AT CAROLINA MIRACLE LEAGUE

Ten players of the North Greenville Baseball team and ten players from the North Greenville softball team recently participated in a charity event with the Carolina Miracle League.

The Carolina Miracle League is an organization that provides organized recreational opportunities for children with disabilities through the sports of baseball and softball. The players from NGU served as “buddies” for each of the players who suffer from mental and physical disabilities. “We had a great time working with the Miracle League,” remarked head baseball coach Reynolds, who accompanied his players.

“It's a great organization and their staff does an incredible job organizing and running the games.  Working with their players made our week, and we hope to have the opportunity again in the future."

“It was a great experience for the girls and me,” said head coach Sarah Hall after her first experience with Miracle League. “It was very cool to see the girls interact with the kids and have fun with them. Hopefully the kids had as much fun as we did!”
